After years of fund-raising by Burnham Preschool and a generous donation from a local benefactor, work has finished on the outdoor area/playground at Burnham Village Hall.

The extension, completed in 2017, has doubled the size of the play area and contains a playhouse with a green safety surface and eco-friendly low-maintenance decking. The gate leads to a "Nomow" artificial grass area with a small play log cabin.

At each end of the play area are gates which are disable-access friendly. The gates are only openable from inside the buildings perimeter. Each gate leads out onto the car park areas.
